Piscataway man is on life support after shooting in Plainfield convenience store

I am linking to this story on NJ.com NOT because it is directly addressing any gun law in New jersey, but because a) the author of the piece editorializes in the second to last paragraph; 'a form of violence that’s on the rise in the city of about 50,000, where five people were killed in homicides this year.' and b) because the comments show that more and more New Jersey residents are getting fed up with the draconian gun laws in the Garden State.

Legalize or criminalize - a tale of one man

I found this great op-ed piece by Jeff Edelstein in the Trentonian this week. Jeff says:

The Grand Poobah has spoken. Legalize or criminalize guns. The middle ground is only good for the bad guys. (I still favor an outright ban, for the record. I’ll let you keep your muskets, though.)

It's a fun read and although I do not agree with his final assessment, I understand his thought process.
